Ok I was in sky today and someone posted in say the icons for the weather! @. @ And when someone asked him about hit he posted in auto translate {I don't know any language } The icons were cool and I would LOVE to be able to do it for blm and rdm spells!

Im guessing it works the same way the fake auto-trans does. Meaning you need a NPC to say the icon (maybe a tutorial NPC that teaches what the weather icons are?) and then copy it from the logs. I don't know of a NPC that does though.

God its been forever since I talked to all the npcs. I sorta remember one that talked about the different elements. I think he was in upper jeuno. I'll have to run around jeuno one day and see if I can find him. LOL

Weather Symbols are codes in a Macro Editor

Autotranslates for spells are hex code

Completly fake Autotrans (Such as "Yo!") are brackets in a macro editor.


It's not that complicated, I just don't wanna get in trouble posting it :3

Some of you were close but wrong. Every auto-translator phrase is stored in a .dat file on your computer. Each item/ability in the game also has an ID. With this knowledge you can use a combination of making a macro and the ID of the item to make the REAL auto-translation of that item/ability. I won't go into detail how it's done because it has gotten some people suspended due to you needing a 3rd-party program to do it.
